With 40 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Jeffrey K. H. Ching is committed to providing high-quality care with a personal touch. Born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii, Dr. Ching moved to California to attend the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS in 1985. Since then, he has built a reputation for excellence, specializing in Crown & Bridge procedures, Implant Restorations, and Invisalign.

In 2001, Dr. Ching took over an established practice in Cupertino, which has been a trusted dental office in the community for 40 years. He also founded another practice in Fremont in 1991. Whether restoring implants or perfecting smiles with Invisalign, Dr. Ching uses the latest materials and techniques to ensure beautiful, long-lasting results. His focus is always on patient comfort and satisfaction, and he strives to make every visit a positive experience.
When not in the office, Dr. Ching enjoys spending time with his wife, Samantha, and indulging in his passion for golf and travel.

Megha Gupta – Dental Assistant
Megha is a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant at Jeffrey K H Ching DDS Inc. Originally trained as a dentist in India, she holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and is currently pursuing further dental training in the United States. Megha has been a resident of the Bay Area for the past three years, where she has developed a deep connection with the local community.

Megha discovered her passion for dentistry through her desire to help those who feel anxious about dental visits and are concerned about their smiles. She finds immense satisfaction in easing her patients’ fears and helping them achieve the confidence that comes with a healthy smile. Outside of her professional life, Megha is an active volunteer, dedicating her free time to supporting those in need.
At home, Megha enjoys spending quality time with her husband. Together, they explore the beautiful Bay Area on hiking adventures. She also loves cooking, swimming, and dancing, finding joy and balance in these activities. Megha’s warm and caring nature extends beyond her work, making her a beloved part of both her professional and personal communities.
Phelan Ignacio – Dental Hygienist
Phelan is a dedicated Dental Hygienist at Jeffrey K H Ching DDS Inc., and has deep roots in the Bay Area. His parents moved to San Jose after immigrating to San Francisco in the 1970s, and he has called this vibrant region home his entire life. Phelan’s educational journey began at Piedmont Hills High School, followed by studies in environmental skilled science and pre-dentistry at Mission College. He later earned an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Carrington College.

Phelan’s path to his profession was somewhat serendipitous. He initially started in the dental field working at the front desk, but it wasn’t until he was transferred to the back office that he found his true calling. Despite his initial hesitation, he quickly realized that working with his hands and providing patient care was his passion. This experience solidified his decision to pursue a career in dental hygiene, where he now takes great pride in the work he does every day.
Outside of the office, Phelan is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and boating. He also has a love for billiards, bowling, and watching movies. Traveling and spending time with pets are among his favorite pastimes, and he deeply values the trust and connection he shares with his parents. Phelan’s diverse interests and strong family ties enrich his life and keep him grounded both personally and professionally.
Serina Toan – Dental Hygienist
Serina is a dedicated Dental Hygienist at Jeffrey K H Ching DDS Inc, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care to the team. Born in Sacramento and having spent most of her life in the Bay Area, Serina has deep roots in the community. She graduated from Milpitas High School and went on to pursue her interest in dental care, completing her dental assisting training in 2009 at Western Career College. Her commitment to advancing her skills led her to further her education, earning a certification in dental hygiene from Carrington Career College in 2014.

With a career spanning over a decade, Serina knew early on that she was in the right profession. Her love for working with people, especially in a one-on-one setting, drives her dedication to providing the best care for her patients.
Outside of work, Serina enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep her active and engaged. She loves hiking through the scenic trails of the Bay Area, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and has recently taken up golfing, a hobby she started about a year ago. Serina also has a cat that she adores, and she has a passion for traveling and trying new things, always eager for her next adventure.
Thuy Jenny Nguyen – Dental Hygienist
Thuy, a Portland, OR native, graduated from Jefferson High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree and Dental Hygiene certification from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 1997. She has been a valued member of Dr. Ching’s team since 2000. Outside of work, Thuy dedicates much of her free time to volunteering at her local church and within her community. She is happily married and the proud mother of three daughters.
Sharon Hidalgo – Business Coordinator, Cupertino Office
Sharon is a dedicated Business Coordinator at Jeffrey K H Ching DDS Inc. Originally from the Philippines, Sharon has spent most of her life in the Bay Area, where she attended Mountain View High School before pursuing her passion for dental care at Foothill College, completing their dental assisting program. She has been a valued part of the team at this same location for 40 years, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to providing excellent care and service.

Sharon knew she was in the right profession when she realized her love for helping others and her natural ability to connect with people. Her caring and sociable nature makes her an invaluable asset to both patients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Sharon enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband, son, dog, and cat. An avid reader, she has impressively read 38,000 books and enjoys dancing in her free time. Sharon’s commitment to her community is evident in her enthusiasm for volunteering whenever she can.
Jennifer Guarnera
Jennifer is a professional with over 24 years of experience in the dental field. A graduate of the Cabot Dental Hygiene Program in 2009, she has spent years providing exceptional patient care. Currently a full-time realtor in the Bay Area, Jennifer remains passionate about the dental profession and continues to temp, staying connected to the industry. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, including supporting her son’s college baseball career and cheering on her youngest in little league.
